About The Position

As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you will provide patient-focused pharmaceutical care and use your clinical knowledge to support patients’ health and wellness. The role includes dispensing prescriptions, counseling customers, administering immunizations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and guiding pharmacy staff in customer service. The position is based at 721 Boyd Rd, Azle, TX 76020-4811. The annual salary range is $98,000–$172,000 for a 40-hour workweek, with additional annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Scheduled hours may vary, and pay ranges are prorated for schedules below 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
• Pharmacy license by job entry date.
• Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program, such as APhA, pharmacy school curriculum, or a state pharmacy association-sponsored program.
• Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
• Ability to foster relationships with customers and partners.
• Adaptability to patient needs and a variety of medical concerns.
• Enthusiasm for participating in community activities, outreach, and events.
• Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
• Counsel customers about healthcare and prescription medication needs.
• Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Model and guide pharmacy staff in appropriate customer service approaches.
