About The Position

As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we partner across disciplines to promote wellness and medication safety in our community. Our Staff Pharmacist plays an essential role in ensuring that patients receive the right medications, education, and support to manage their health. We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist who wants to ensure accurate, timely dispensing and counseling of medications to patients at our in-house pharmacy, collaborate closely with providers, medical assistants, and care teams to optimize medication therapy, support regulatory compliance, including 340B program requirements, while maintaining high standards of patient safety, and further Premier’s mission by enhancing access to medications and promoting medication adherence in underserved communities. Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Current, active Florida Pharmacist License
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to patient education
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems (experience with Epic preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in outpatient, community health, or 340B pharmacy settings preferred

Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications accurately, review prescriptions, and verify proper dosage, interactions, and safety
  • Provide medication counseling to patients and offer drug information and support to providers
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and coordinate pharmacy workflows for efficiency and quality
  • Monitor inventory, order pharmaceuticals, and maintain compliance with 340B and regulatory standards
  • Participate in medication reconciliation and work with care teams to optimize drug therapy
  • Contribute to quality improvement efforts, patient safety programs, and pharmacy operational goals
