About The Position

As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you will provide patient care and use your clinical knowledge to work to the top of your license. You will support patients’ health and wellness in an energetic pharmacy environment equipped with resources and technology. The role includes providing pharmaceutical care, counseling customers, administering immunizations, ensuring regulatory and company-policy compliance, and guiding pharmacy staff on customer service. The position is located at 5219 Highway 51 N, Senatobia, MS 38668-1719.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
• Pharmacy license by job entry date.
• Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program, such as APhA, pharmacy school curriculum, or a state pharmacy association-sponsored program.
• Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
• Excellent ability to foster relationships with customers and partners.
• Adaptability to cater to patient needs and address a variety of medical concerns.
• Enthusiasm for participating in community activities, outreach, and events.
• Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Process and accurately dispense prescription orders as part of providing pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Counsel customers regarding healthcare and prescription medication needs.
• Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches.
