About The Position

Clinical Solutions Pharmacy is seeking ambitious, impactful, and goal-oriented professionals to join our Pharmacist Team. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working in a closed-door pharmacy setting. Clinical Solutions Pharmacy is the only 100% female-owned and founded closed-door pharmacy in the United States serving the correctional population, shipping over 60,000 prescriptions daily to more than 750 correctional facilities nationwide. Requirements

  • License to practice pharmacy is required in the state of the position. Must also be willing to obtain licensure for multiple states, as needed.
  • Eligible to work for any U.S. Employer
  • 1-2 years of Pharmacist experience is required
  • Ability to think critically and perform tasks efficiently with accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize to maintain productivity.
  • Possess the ability and initiative to plan for and complete daily activities with minimal direction.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screening process.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Person needs to have strong oral and written skills.
  • Must possess strong leadership abilities to coordinate multiple associates and provide direction to accomplish job functions.
  • Must have strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point or other Windows based software programs.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information.
  • Proficient in the area of clinical interpretation: drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interactions, and allergies
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Understands, promotes, and complies with rules and regulations governing residents' rights.
  • Keeps abreast of current state, federal and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Adhere to regulatory and company compliance, including OSHA, DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, and Clinical Solutions Code of Conduct, Business Ethics, Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the daily activities of the pharmacy, including the development, oversight, and monitoring of services, in support of policies, goals, and objectives established by the Pharmacy Supervisor.
  • Support an environment that promotes optimal efficiencies, staff retention, and superior quality of business office employees.
  • Review orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
  • Verify all prepared DURs are accurate and communicate recommendations to clients in a timely manner.
  • Complete quality assurance checks on all orders filled by fulfillment staff prior to dispensing and releasing the orders to shipping.
  • Communicates well and maintains positive client relationships and answers any pharmacist related calls and/or questions.
  • Other special projects and duties as assigned by Pharmacy Supervisor.
  • Advise pharmacy staff on changes to any known regulatory changes/updates.
