About The Position

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff and to help manage, oversee, and operate all aspects of the pharmacy. The role supports patient safety, professional pharmacy practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, personnel and inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management. The Staff Pharmacist helps keep customers and patients healthy through the adoption and management of patient care programs. The pharmacist leads with empathy and compassion, motivates and develops Pharmacy Support Staff, identifies business opportunities and implements solutions to improve growth and performance, and adapts to change in a dynamic community healthcare setting. The role also promotes teamwork, collaboration, better outcomes, and healthy patient outcomes.

Requirements

Active pharmacy license in the state of employment.
Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
Immunization certification through an accredited organization, such as APhA.
No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
