About The Position

Clinical Solutions Pharmacy is looking for ambitious, impactful, goal-oriented Pharmacists to join our growing team. This is a part-time position located in Franklin, TN. The role involves assisting in the daily activities of the pharmacy, including the development, oversight, and monitoring of services. Key responsibilities include reviewing orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness, verifying the accuracy of prepared DURs and communicating recommendations, and completing quality assurance checks on all filled orders before dispensing. The pharmacist will also communicate effectively with clients, maintain positive relationships, and handle pharmacist-related calls and questions. Other special projects and duties as assigned by management are also part of the role. The company is a 100% female founded closed-door pharmacy serving the correctional population, shipping over 60,000 prescriptions daily to facilities across 30 states. Requirements

  • Eligible to work for any U.S. Employer and not require sponsorship
  • License to practice pharmacy in the state of the position is required
  • Must also be willing to obtain licensure for multiple states as needed
  • 1 - 3 years of Pharmacist experience is required
  • Ability to think critically and perform tasks efficiently with accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to organize and prioritize to maintain productivity
  • Possess the ability and initiative to plan for and complete daily activities with minimal direction
  • Comfortable learning new software and technology
  • Must be able to pass a background check and additional pre-hire requirements
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and communicate effectively with clients, employees, and vendors.
  • Understand, promote, and comply with rules and regulations governing patient rights.
  • Keeps abreast of current state, federal and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Adhere to regulatory and company compliance, including OSHA, DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, and Clinical Solutions Code of Conduct, Business Ethics, Policies and Procedures.
  • Advise pharmacy staff on changes to any known regulatory changes/updates.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must have strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office or other Windows based software programs.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information.
  • Proficient in clinical interpretation: drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interactions, and allergies

Nice To Haves

  • 1 - 3 years of Closed-Door Pharmacy experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the daily activities of the pharmacy, including the development, oversight, and monitoring of services, in support of policies, goals, and objectives established by the Pharmacy Manager.
  • Review orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
  • Verify all prepared DURs are accurate and communicate recommendations to clients in a timely manner.
  • Complete quality assurance checks on all orders filled by fulfillment staff prior to dispensing and releasing the orders to Shipping.
  • Communicates well and maintains positive client relationships and answers any pharmacist related calls and/or questions.
  • Other special projects and duties as assigned by management.
