Requirements

Graduate of an ACPE Accredited BS or PharmD Program in Pharmacy
Current license to practice Pharmacy in the State of Ohio
BLS
ACLS based on area assigned

Responsibilities

Ensuring and educating on the safe, therapeutic and rational utilization of medications within the Adena Health System.
Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, accrediting standards, health system policies and sound pharmaceutical ethics.
Making decisions independently or in collaboration with another Pharmacist or healthcare provider.
Maintaining competency and working with patients in all age groups unless assigned to work with a specific age group.
Direct patient interactions such as medication and disease state education counseling, minor lab procedures and interpret lab results, administer injections, and work according to approved health system protocols.
As needed, this position may allow or require coverage at any Adena entity with responsibilities that vary based on location or services provided.
