This position is accountable for those pharmacy services which require a pharmaceutical education and state licensure; leadership experience and extensive professional judgment are also required. Receives, compounds, fills and verifies prescriptions, dispenses pharmaceuticals, offers preventative healthcare services such as immunizations, consults with clients regarding the nature and use of drugs, and trains and/or supervises personnel. Prepares and maintains all necessary records required by federal, state and local regulations. These duties are performed independently, according to regulatory guidelines, departmental policies and procedures, as scheduled by the supervisory staff.
