About The Position

This is a temporary assignment for a Staff Performance Coordinator in Jessup, MD. The role requires bilingual fluency in Spanish and English. The Staff Performance Coordinator will act as the first point of contact for vendors and client contacts for all employee issues, educate clients on guidelines, and ensure timely and appropriate handling of employee issues. This role involves coordinating issue resolution with vendors and client partners, understanding risk areas, and delivering customized new hire orientations. Additionally, the coordinator will collect and review onboarding documents, run reports to identify workforce challenges, and escalate issues using CRM, Power BI, and time/attendance software. Participation in client meetings regarding safety and operations, documentation and investigation of safety incidents, and execution of the safety observation program are also key responsibilities. The role includes coaching associates on attendance policies, conducting performance reviews, assigning and ending associate assignments, processing payroll, and tracking attendance and wage/hour compliance. The position also involves facility tours (walking 3-5 miles daily), participating in daily operational meetings, and conducting onboarding, I-9s, and background checks.

Requirements

  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish & English
  • Hands-on experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a customer service role responsible for client communication
  • Data management experience
  • Familiarity with a heavy process-oriented environment
  • Able to multi-task, change priorities as appropriate and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Able to understand client goals and how they measure success
  • Able to work independently and with a team
  • Practical experience and comfort with using Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

  • Participates in whiteboard meetings to understand daily order fill goals
  • Conducts onboarding, I-9s, and background checks
