About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian is hiring a full-time night Staff Nurse for its Pediatric Float Pool at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York, New York. The role provides exposure to patients across specialized units and supports unit teams in delivering quality, compassionate patient care. Nurses partner with a Staffing Coordinator to design a schedule that accommodates their lifestyle. The position includes a weekend and holiday rotation. All roles require on-site presence, and employees should live within a commutable distance of NYP; travel expenses are not reimbursed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Current New York State RN license or willingness to obtain one.
- BCLS certification.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification from the American Heart Association.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of two years of pediatric experience.
- ACLS certification.
- At least two years of acute care RN experience.
