University of Iowa Health Care Department of Nursing is seeking a 100% Staff Nurse to work for the Holden Cancer Center - Chemo Infusion Suite. This role involves applying nursing theory to patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation. The nurse will coordinate care, develop and implement patient care plans, and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include documenting interventions, managing discharge planning, and maintaining a safe environment by following universal precautions. The position is 100% effort, equivalent to 40 hours per week, with a schedule of Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, offering variable hours between 0700-1800, with a preference for 10-hour shifts. Weekend work will commence in the fall, and no holidays are required. Training must be completed on weekdays. The salary starts at a minimum of $61,782 at 100% effort and is commensurate with experience and effort percentage. Procedural differentials of up to $5,000 per year are also available.
