About The Position

Camber Children's Mental Health Hospital in Wichita is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN's) to join their multidisciplinary team. In this vital role, you will provide direct care and support to children ages 6 to 18 in a safe, trauma-informed environment. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting children and families, collaborating with a team of professionals, and helping young people build resilience for a brighter future.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Kansas
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

Responsibilities

Take medication orders and supervise the dispensing of medications
Chart and maintain accurate medical records
Assess medical health concerns, including infection control, and ensure timely care
Collaborate with the staff nutritionist to meet patients’ dietary needs
Communicate with case managers or adults responsible for patients’ physical health
Assist with injuries and accidents
Consult with direct care staff to support patient well-being
