About The Position

The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing care for patients in the Divisional Critical Care Resource Pool. This role involves covering long-term assignments in critical care areas, including Medical ICU, Burn Trauma ICU, and Coronary Care Unit. The nurse will work collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
2 years of med/surg Nursing experience is required.
Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.

Nice To Haves

ICU experience preferred.
Interest in being cross-trained over time to cover long term assignments in critical care areas; including Medical ICU, Burn Trauma ICU and Coronary Care Unit is desirable.
Membership in professional organizations is recommended.
Certification in specialty area is encouraged.
