About The Position

The Staff Nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within organizational policies and procedures, demonstrates professional growth and accountability, maintains standards of practice, and coordinates assigned staff’s patient-care activities to provide quality nursing care. This position is in the ICU at Piedmont Fayette Hospital and is PRN on days. The nurse must be able to work a minimum of 9 shifts per 6-week schedule.

Requirements

Graduation from a nursing program.
Two years of recent ICU experience.
Current Georgia registered nurse license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Ability to work a minimum of 9 shifts per 6-week schedule.
