We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team at New Dawn Treatment Center in Reno, NV. Requirements

Active Nevada LVN, LPT or RN license
Must have and maintain a valid Nevada driver’s license, clean driving record, and maintain personal auto insurance coverage.
Must have a current TB test or chest x-ray.
Must have current CPR and First Aid certification.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work well and quickly under pressure both individually and as part of a team.
Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience in detox, residential treatment or related healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Assesses the client’s status on an ongoing basis and ensures that pertinent information is documented in the chart.
Assists with medication administration.
Assists with client safety checks.
Performs client intakes.
Completes routine chart audits when needed.
Give thorough reports to oncoming staff.
Provides coverage in emergency situations as needed.
Communicates directly with providers via Tiger Connect.
Assists in training BHTs and other medical staff.
Assists in obtaining coverage for call offs when necessary.
Other duties as assigned
