About The Position

Adena Health is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) for their Medical Surgical Unit at Adena Pike Medical Center in Waverly, Ohio. The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. As the primary caregiver, they deliver direct patient care and collaborate with care team members, physicians, and patients/families to achieve optimal outcomes. The role involves independent and collaborative decision-making and operates under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN)
Years of nursing experience/education will determine hourly rate.

Responsibilities

Provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patient’s plan of care.

As the primary caregiver, provides direct patient care.
Works collaboratively with other care team members, the physician and the patient/family to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Makes decisions independently and in collaboration with others.
Works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.
