About The Position

We are currently seeking a Staff Nurse to join our OB Resource Pool team. This position will be cross-trained to work/float in OBGYN, Nursery, Labor and Delivery, Pediatrics and NICU. This position is a 0.75 FTE (5 shifts/ pay period), 12-hour shifts, Nights, Every Third Weekend plus on call per unit policy. This role will be required to also be trained as a charge nurse.

Requirements

• 1 year of recent maternal health professional nursing (RN) experience
• or
• 2 years of current professional nursing (RN) experience in an inpatient hospital setting
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota

Nice To Haves

• Certification in area of clinical specialty
• BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.

Responsibilities

• Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:
