About The Position

The Staff Nurse II is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides fiscally responsible care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation and other health care team members.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Current California RN license required.
• AHA BLS required.
• AHA ACLS required.
• AHA PALS required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years acute care hospital experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.
• Experience in Cardiac (Structural Heart, STEMI), Neuro IR, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology procedures required.
• Ability to work productively in a busy and complex environment.
• Effective written and oral communication skills in English.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Critical care experience in CCU/ICU/ED preferred.
