About The Position

Utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional nursing care to patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH and Nursing Policies and Standard Work. Coordinates and delegates the care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s).

Requirements

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina
• ADN degree
• BLS certified
• Obtain NRP certification within 1 year of hire

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) to provide and document professional nursing care to patients
• Provide and document professional nursing care in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH and Nursing Policies and Standard Work
• Coordinate and delegate patient care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel
• Communicate findings as indicated to appropriate person(s)
• Obtain NRP certification within 1 year of hire
• Complete annual review of unit specific Code A responsibilities
• Perform any other job-related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Director
