The Central Staffing Office Nursing Float Pool is a team that demonstrates a high level of flexibility, enjoys variety and likes making new friends. The RN and PCA teams float to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and 3 Medical/Surgical Units. The PCA team also floats to the Emergency Department for patient sitting. We provide the opportunity to network throughout the hospital, care for children of all ages and diagnoses, and expand your skills. Requirements

  • RN and PCA teams float to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and 3 Medical/Surgical Units.
  • PCA team also floats to the Emergency Department for patient sitting.

Responsibilities

  • Assume accountability to plan and provide direct professional nursing care for specified patients during his or her assigned shift as defined by population and unit.
  • Provide nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the standards of practice of a professional nurse, CCMC policies & procedures, Joint Commission, and State & federal regulations.
