About The Position
Corlann South East is seeking bright, ambitious individuals with a positive attitude towards working with people with an intellectual disability. The role involves ensuring that persons supported lead fulfilling and enjoyable lives. Staff Nurses assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards, providing person-centered care that promotes optimum independence and enhances the quality of life for those supported. They also assist in all practical tasks associated with the daily life of the person supported. The role offers the opportunity for interdisciplinary working with professional colleagues to provide specialist care services.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse qualification
- Commitment to ensuring that persons supported lead as fulfilling and enjoyable a life as possible.
- Positive attitude towards working with people with an intellectual disability.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards within the model of nursing care practiced in the relevant care setting.
- Provide complete, person-centered care, promoting optimum independence and enhancing the quality of life for people supported by the service.
- Assist in all aspects of the practical tasks associated with the daily life of the person supported.
- Work closely with professional colleagues to provide a range of specialist care services.
