About The Position
The role encompasses the management of patient care through implementation of the nursing process, supervision of licensed and unlicensed personnel, and coordination of interdisciplinary care.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS required
- Current NIH Stroke Scale Certification
- Basic Arrhythmia, Basic 12-lead EKG are required within 6 months of hire
- Workplace Violence AB508/SB1299 Training within 4-months of hire / transfer into the Emergency Department
- Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
- Able to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing, prioritizing, delegating patient care, and completing work assignments as well as other duties as assigned
Nice To Haves
- One year of recent Acute Care nursing experience preferred
