Staff Nurse Ambulatory/Outpatient Nurse - Pediatrics - Queens Medical Group As an integral member of the healthcare team, the Staff Nurse provides direct patient care, exercises independent clinical judgment, and contributes to the development and implementation of patient care plans while fostering a therapeutic environment. This role works closely with Pediatric Specialties and General Pediatrics, partnering with the current Staff Nurse and multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, coordinated patient care. This is a full-time day shift position with a Monday–Friday. The hours will vary weekly between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The schedule is subject to change based on operational needs. Candidates must be flexible and willing to provide coverage at other Queens Medical Group practice locations as necessary. Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN)
  • Current New York State RN license
  • PALS and BCLS certification with the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2-5 year of RN experience
  • At least one year of ambulatory experience
  • Experience working in a Pediatrics health care setting
  • Bilingual in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is strongly preferred
