Platform9 is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team working on their cloud-native product suite. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, be aware of cloud-native technologies, and have a willingness to learn new technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
Excellent programming skills in a major programming language.
6-15 years of experience in a software development role.
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals with willingness to learn and build products in the cloud computing and virtualisation space.
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Being a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a highly dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

Python or Golang is preferred.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes is a plus.
Prior experience with OpenStack/DevStack is also a plus.
Strong knowledge and exposure in networking protocols is desirable

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of cloud native products and services for our Kubernetes product ecosystem.
Learn and collaborate with the team to design and implement the product roadmap.
Support Cloud infrastructure deployments using Platform9 products, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
