As a Motion Designer, you’ll apply your passion for animation to simplify complex interactions and solve challenging design problems. You’ll help define and implement Google’s motion design language and you’ll think critically about how motion reinforces Google’s UX brand, enhances interactivity, and delights our users. Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in product design or UX.
Experience in product design or UX/UI animation.
Experience with Generative AI.
Experience with Adobe creative suit.
Experience using UX industry tools such as Figma.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
12 years of experience in product design or UX.
4 years of experience leading design projects.
3 years of experience working with executive leaders.
Experience with 3D and vector animation (Lottie).

Responsibilities

Work with product managers, UX Designers, and Engineers to create motion mocks and define system patterns that enhance the Android user experience.
Drive consensus and influence the design decisions of multi-disciplinary teams.
Partner with content designers and researchers to evaluate design directions and up-level quality.
Leverage AI tools to build interactive prototypes and multiplying solutions.
