We are seeking a Staff Mechanical Engineer with 0- years of experience to join a multi-disciplinary team in our Mechanical Department. We offer full service in-house architecture/engineering design capabilities and typically work on a diverse array of projects including Higher Education, Municipal Facilities, Industrial, Design-build, Aviation and Healthcare.

Requirements

  • 0-3 years of related mechanical/HVAC design and project management experience.
  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering
  • Understanding of design and construction documents.
  • Knowledge of building codes.
  • Ability to succeed in small and large multi-disciplinary team environments.
  • Ability to set deadlines, assign resources, monitor/summarize project progress.
  • Good graphic, communications (verbal and written) and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in CADD & REVIT preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Works in the responsible charge of a licensed mechanical engineer
  • Performs mechanical engineering calculations, edits specifications, and prepares design drawings
  • Assists in developing project construction documents, including conducting site visits, producing specifications, developing drawings, sizing equipment and producing cost estimates.
  • Coordinates with the other design disciplines in the delivery of mechanical designs
  • Performs services during construction including responding to RFI's, reviewing submittals, and performing field observations
  • Occasional travel as a part of project delivery will be required
