About The Position

Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all . Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. Your objective is to harness global internal and external resources to drive network process and equipment alignment to achieve world-class manufacturing performance! The Manufacturing Alignment team establishes Training, Disciplines, Alignment Programs and Team/Talent management to enable virtual clustered scale across the network! Examples include demonstrating suppliers to achieve benchmark manufacturing performance, discovery and implementation of equipment and process best known methods (BKM), equipment utilization optimization, cash cost and labor efficiency optimization, and continuous improvement project prioritization and execution globally! What’s Encouraged Daily: Development and execution of alignment programs Develop and complete alignment programs with TPM core teams and task force teams across the network to drive BKM alignment and network standardization to improve efficiency and performance in each of the Pillars. For improvements in scale, identifying and driving improvements in Tool Utilization to meet Best in Class standards including elimination of low utilization tools in Micron, generation of globally aligned cold/warm idle shutdown of tools when not in need to generate OPEX and CAPEX savings, and resolving Tool POR-MOR gaps on major volume, with aligned BKMs implemented across the network & PDM updated. For Speed this will include execution of Early-Stage Transfer Alignment (ESTA) to drive BKM sharing between technologies, process recipe alignment and identification and alignment of BKMs to improve machine mismatch and defect performance. For Quality this will include alignment of PM Procedures, for shared workstations, Post Maintenance Qualifications, Scrap reduction and GDM recurrence prevention. For Cost this will include performing Power Walks to understand practices across the network and development of methodology and system improvements to drive labor efficiency and driving cost improvements through activities such as PM parts frequency alignment to reduce OPEX spending. For People this will include TLP development programs and Engage/Voice improvements. Standardization of practices & BKMs in Process Areas Lead global area and TPM core alignment teams to address chronic issues, drive improvements & eliminate wastes. Work closely with CPEE counterparts to define technical path to closure (aligned direction), and channel improvements and lessons learned into global area forums to decide on standards for deployment, implementation, and audit. Drive implementation plans (to schedule) for your process area/point of operation and define metrics to measure success and improvements in performance from the implementation. Report progress to closure and performance improvement to site leadership, OCT, TD
