About The Position

The Staff Machine Learning Software Engineer contributes to and executes against a predefined AI/ML engineering direction for a domain or product area, applying algorithm and modeling expertise to real-time signal and image processing systems built around agentic tools and approaches. You will bring deep technical depth to implementation, drives adoption of agentic machine learning engineering practices within their area of ownership, and serves as a technical resource for algorithm and modeling questions within the team.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in machine learning, signal processing, or a related quantitative field, including deep hands-on execution within a domain or product area, and early, hands-on adoption of agentic or AI-assisted development tools.
• Deep expertise in statistical modeling, signal processing, and real-time image analysis, including TensorFlow/PyTorch, filter design, and model validation techniques.
• Proficiency directing AI-assisted development tools within the personal engineering workflow, including orchestrating multi-step agent workflows to accelerate delivery.
• Cross-functional stakeholder management, partnering with product and engineering leadership to align research and engineering priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the clinical diagnostics or life sciences industry, building AI-enabled products and multi-omics capable machine learning systems (e.g., genomics, proteomics) within a regulated environment.

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, contributing to their technical growth in signal processing and machine learning.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align research and engineering priorities with product needs.
