About The Position

As a Staff Level Mechanical Engineer for Pittsfield Hardware Engineering, you’ll be a member of the Senior Engineering Manager's staff and assigned to support cross functional teams on one or more programs/projects at a time based on current business needs. This will involve providing subject matter expertise related to Mechanical Engineering, supporting estimating efforts and project management needs, providing emergent troubleshooting support, and serving as a senior review authority. You will also be tasked with supporting process improvement efforts along with mentoring junior engineers. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
