About The Position

The Staff IT Auditor position will assist the Internal Audit department in testing and documenting internal controls as we implement the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404. In addition, there will be opportunities to support other IT-based audit and advisory projects as needed. This role is hybrid in office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote Thursday and Friday.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology/computer information systems or related field.
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is not required, but candidate should be actively pursuing or express desire to pursue this designation
  • Understanding of IT, audit, and/or cyber-security methodologies
  • Self-starter with ability to perform and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to excellence, innovation, and accountability
  • Professional communication (written & oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of Management
  • Fundamental understanding of software development and implementation; computer programming; cyber-security defense protocols; IT infrastructure; or database administration.
  • General MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)

Nice To Haves

  • experience or base knowledge of query or visualization tools (SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.) or service systems (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
  • Familiarity with financial systems (Oracle, Oracle Fusion)
  • 0-3 years of work experience, work experience as an IT Auditor or commiserate experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • In support of the company’s SOX program, review, evaluate, and test the company’s IT general and application controls: evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine exposure to risk, and support development of company remediation strategies.
  • Collaborate with various departments within the company to identify IT processes, risks, controls, and compliance and evaluate against industry standards.
  • Assist with identification of network and system vulnerabilities; review and evaluate security measures used to protect the organization’s data, systems, and networks; provide recommendations and guidance as appropriate.
  • As applicable, participate in various audit and advisory projects including IT governance, operations, network and infrastructure security, and systems development implementation and change management.
  • Develop a strong understanding of business and system processes; provide feedback and guidance to business units with best practice recommendations.
