About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff IoT Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical leadership in defining and evolving our cloud platform architecture, technical standards, and engineering best practices. You will drive technical strategy and architectural decisions, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend investments to improve business and customer outcomes. You will also serve as a trusted technical advisor for engineering leadership and product stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and optimizing distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architectures, and data platforms. You will lead architecture reviews, ensuring solutions meet security, reliability, performance, and cost objectives, and drive the adoption of cloud infrastructure automation, observability, and resiliency. Maintaining standards for CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, deployment automation, and platform governance will be crucial. You will collaborate closely with mobile, embedded, QA, UX, and IT teams to deliver end-to-end customer solutions, facilitating alignment and resolving complex technical and organizational challenges. Leading technical planning for large cross-functional initiatives and building consensus around architectural direction will also be key. Furthermore, you will mentor engineers at all levels, guide them on architecture, system design, debugging, and engineering practices, and foster a culture of technical curiosity, continuous improvement, and accountability.
