About The Position

Marvell is hiring a Staff Interop Validation Engineer to evaluate hardware and software features for DSPs and develop implementation plans for qualification and testing. The role collaborates with vendors and manufacturers to define and develop test plans for optical modules and DSP chips, automates optical test plans, and qualifies optical modules from different vendors across different switches. The engineer builds dashboards and regular status reports to track optical module and DSP qualification progress, interop lab readiness, and key performance metrics across vendors and switch platforms. The role also adapts and benchmarks open-weight language models to assist with lab data review, including retrieving information from specifications and past test records, interpreting electrical and optical measurements, sorting failures by likely cause, and preparing draft reports for engineers to refine. The position involves building end-to-end automation that gathers specifications and prior test records, reviews lab logs, and runs Python scripts and statistical checks on result sets.
