About The Position

PSEG is looking for a Summer 2026 Staff Intern for the Utility Finance department. This job involves working as an analyst on the Utility Long-range plan team that is responsible for developing and maintaining PSE&G’s 10-year business plan. Finance is transitioning to a new planning software (Oracle) in 2026 and this analyst will be responsible for retrofitting and converting models and documents to use the new system. Through this role, the analyst will be exposed to learning the inner workings of financial statements and utility finance concepts. There will also be an opportunity to learn and develop technical skills related to the planning software and Excel. This position will be Hybrid Flexible.

Requirements

Actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in Finance or economics.
Graduating between December 2026 and May 2029 (students graduating May/June 2026 are not eligible unless enrolling in a post-graduate degree program in Fall 2026).
Completed sophomore level coursework.
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
Ability to commute to designated work location as needed.

Nice To Haves

3.0 GPA
Experience using Microsoft Excel or similar software
Familiarity with Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows)

Responsibilities

Working as an analyst on the Utility Long-range plan team responsible for developing and maintaining PSE&G’s 10-year business plan.
Retrofitting and converting models and documents to use the new Oracle planning software.
Working alongside professionals in Corporate Enterprise Planning, Capital Planners, and IT & Consultants responsible for the new software’s implementation.
