About The Position

This position is for a Staff Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer. You'll have the opportunity to grow and hone your skills with other talented team members. Our ideal candidate is an Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer who is a motivated self-starter that can join the team to begin producing quickly. You should understand AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Python, relational databases, and Grafana. You will be working closely with a talented team to deliver a complex software application into operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 7+ years of Infrastructure / DevOps experience, or a Master’s Degree and 5+ years of experience
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engagement with virtual or remote teams
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Experience working with Infrastructure as code tooling (Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Experience creating, editing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or equivalent)
• Scripting, automation, and programming skills (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Existing or ability to obtain IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CASP+)
• Active U.S Government TS/SCI Security Clearance w/Poly

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile software development methodology
• Familiarity with government risk management framework (RMF) processes
• Familiarity with Linux systems administration and STIG hardening
• Familiarity with GitOps deployment workflows
• Experience with cloud networking and cloud security concepts
• Experience working with containerized applications and container orchestration systems
• Extensive experience with AWS technologies (EKS, EC2, Lambda, SQS, etc)
