This role offers a blend of field (25-40%) and office-based work, providing hands-on experience with support for mentorship and professional growth. You’ll collaborate with engineers, project/program managers, and technical experts on a variety of impactful projects. You will work alongside Engineers, Project/Program Managers, and Technical Experts on various activities and projects. Requirements

Bachelor’s of Science in Geology, Hydrogeology, or closely related field (i.e., environmental science, physical science)
5 years of experience
Strong written and oral communication skills
Self-motivated
Independent thinking
Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team setting as well as independently and remotely.
Adaptable, creative problem solvers who can work collaboratively as a team member.

Responsibilities

Assisting Project Managers (PMs) in planning and executing baseline surveys, permitting, data evaluations, regulatory compliance, environmental site characterization, investigation, and remediation tasks.
Office and field work, including planning, coordinating, and overseeing drilling for soil sampling and groundwater well installation, groundwater sampling, and subcontractor oversight.
Conducting and managing fieldwork with a focus on health and safety.
Collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines, hydrologists, and geologists on relevant project work.
Participating in all aspects of permitting, site investigation, and remediation projects.
Communicating and working closely with project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.
Performing fieldwork which may include drilling oversight for soil sampling and/or groundwater well installation, groundwater sampling, or subcontractor oversight.
Assisting with writing and preparing technical reports, work plans, letters, and memorandum.
Conducting project-related research (historical data, regulations, etc.).
Preparing periodic status/program reports.
Analyzing and interpreting field data.
Utilizing basic software skills such as Leapfrog, and ArcGIS.
Task management, data analysis, report preparation, scope preparation, and client communications.
