About The Position

We are hiring an exceptional Staff Full Stack Engineer to join our Core Engineering team at Healthie. In this senior technical role, you’ll help drive the evolution of Healthie’s platform across both legacy systems and new product development, balancing thoughtful modernization with pragmatic execution in a fast-moving healthcare environment. As a Staff Engineer, you’ll partner closely with Product, Design, Data, Platform, and Engineering teams to architect, build, and scale systems that power critical healthcare workflows for providers and patients. Your work will span backend and frontend development, platform improvements, API design, system architecture, performance optimization, and developer experience initiatives across both established and greenfield areas of our platform. This role requires strong technical judgment and the ability to navigate ambiguity, complexity, and scale. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of Healthie’s architecture while also improving and maintaining highly utilized production systems that support millions of patient interactions and billions of API calls. You’ll help lead technical direction across the organization, mentor engineers, raise the engineering bar, and influence how we build scalable, reliable, and maintainable software. We are looking for someone who can balance long-term technical vision with hands-on execution and who thrives working across a wide range of systems, teams, and problem spaces. At Healthie, we are increasingly AI-enabled and AI-accelerated in how we build. We are looking for team members who actively leverage AI-powered development tools, embrace automation, and help teams adopt modern, AI-assisted engineering practices to increase both velocity and quality.
