  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field and 8–12 years of experience; master's degree and 6–8 years; or PhD and 3–5 years. Experience must be in project engineering, systems engineering, product development, program execution, or a related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, development workflows, and project engineering methodologies.
  • Advanced understanding of project planning, scheduling, technical coordination, engineering change processes, risk management, product lifecycle management (PLM), process improvement, and change management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of engineering documentation, workflow design, process implementation, tool integration, project controls, and systems integration.
  • Knowledge of cross-functional engineering collaboration, quality systems, user requirements, and engineering operations.
  • Strong understanding of technical leadership, engineering lifecycle management, and organizational project management practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Experience with project management and scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent applications.
  • Experience with engineering documentation and collaboration tools such as GitLab, Jama, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent applications.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee, or refugee (protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

Responsibilities

  • Establish project plans, schedules, resource requirements, and execution strategies for complex engineering operations initiatives.
  • Define project engineering approaches by evaluating workflow requirements, engineering priorities, schedules, risks, and resource constraints.
  • Lead coordination of operational deliverables, process improvements, cross-functional activities, and project reviews.
  • Lead the development and implementation of engineering workflows, tool integrations, infrastructure coordination, and process documentation.
  • Evaluate engineering data, technical documentation, workflow metrics, and team feedback, and direct solutions that improve engineering effectiveness.
  • Validate process changes, corrective actions, risk mitigation activities, and operational deliverables supporting technical and business objectives.
  • Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, program management, and operations teams as the engineering operations project lead.
  • Develop project plans, technical reports, process documentation, status updates, and performance metrics to support operational decisions.
  • Support design, process, and technical reviews; engineering investigations; customer meetings; product development; onboarding; training; and process improvement activities by providing project engineering and operations guidance.
  • Establish engineering operations best practices, planning methodologies, repeatable execution processes, and performance measures across FPGA development.
  • Evaluate project management methods, engineering workflows, resource planning, and execution strategies to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance project execution, technical coordination, schedule performance, communication, engineering workflows, tool adoption, and engineering effectiveness.
