Procore Technologies•Austin, TX
•$129,600 - $178,200

About The Position

Procore is hiring a Staff FinOps Analyst to join its Enterprise AI Center of Excellence within the Enterprise Technology & Business Platforms team. The role will make company-wide AI spending visible, predictable, and tied to value by tracking, forecasting, allocating, and analyzing consumption-based costs, initially including Claude and expanding to other AI spending. The position focuses on strategy and insights rather than building data pipelines. It partners with Technology Operations and Data Engineering, who own data models and dashboards, and works closely with the Principal Product Manager, Enterprise AI, Finance, Procurement, Enterprise IT, and business leaders. The role reports to the Senior Director, Technology Transformation & Enterprise AI. It is preferably based in Procore’s Austin, Texas office, but candidates anywhere in the U.S. are also considered. The position defines AI FinOps metrics, definitions, guardrails, and operating rhythms; analyzes costs and value; forecasts spending; develops cost models and total cost of ownership; monitors anomalies and budget variance; supports allocation and chargeback reporting; recommends cost optimizations; measures unit economics; informs vendor renewal strategy; and specifies reporting requirements. It does not make budget decisions, operate chargeback, book accounting entries, configure platform caps and limits, build data pipelines, lead vendor negotiations, or cover AI features in Procore’s customer-facing products. Agentic Foundation owns P&T’s AI spend reporting and optimization decisions. The stated annual base pay range is USD 129,600–178,200. The role may also be eligible for equity compensation and/or bonus incentive compensation.
