About The Position

This is an opportunity to join Qualcomm’s Mobile, Compute, XWP (MCX) finance team. The Staff Financial Analyst will provide finance support across functions, including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), marketing budget support, and other key MCX initiatives. The role analyzes business-unit performance and financial statements, supports forecasting and product pricing, reviews customer contracts, collaborates with cross-functional teams, develops and maintains financial models, and contributes to ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 4 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or related work.
• Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may substitute for up to two years of work experience: a Master’s degree substitutes for one year, and a Doctorate substitutes for two years.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or related work.
• At least 2 years of experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership, such as Director level and above.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role, with or without direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business-unit performance, assess key business metrics, and identify drivers of financial performance.
• Perform actual-versus-forecast analysis.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of elements of financial statements.
• Establish pricing strategy and structure for new products.
• Review customer contracts.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, legal, and other cross-departmental teams.
• Build, improve, and maintain complex financial models.
• Support ad hoc special projects.
• Provide finance support for FP&A, marketing budgets, and other key MCX initiatives.
