About The Position

Versar Global Solutions is seeking a Part-Time On-Call (PTOC) Staff Environmental Engineer. This position is contingent upon award. The role involves participating in discussions for developing Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plans for fuel and other petroleum liquids storage and use, reviewing draft and final SPCC Plans, and applying a Professional Engineer seal to final plans. The engineer will also be responsible for obtaining Professional Engineer registrations in relevant states through Comity (Reciprocity) Licensure in a timely manner.

Requirements

Must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an accredited academic institution.
Must be currently registered as a Professional Engineer in at least one state.
Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Successful results of pre-employment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.
Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate’s start date.

Nice To Haves

A degree in Environmental Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities
