About The Position

As a Qualcomm Cellular Technologies Software Engineer, you will design, standardize, implement, verify, and validate state-of-the-art cellular technologies across a broad set of technology prototypes, standards, specifications, products, or components within a product. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high quality and capability air interface and modem that meet and exceed industry standards and customer requirements. In this role, you will contribute to L2-L1 (MAC-PHY) interface handling on Q6 processor (send/receive PCIe transport, parsing, error checking and req->workplan and resp->report translation), Interfaces with other modem sub-systems, E2E integration. Embedded firmware design with constrained MIPS and memory. Design for test and debug and test driven development. You will have opportunity to contribute to SCF FAPI specification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
