Requirements

  • Technical leadership for yield, quality, and reliability initiatives.
  • Root cause investigations for complex, cross-module failures.
  • Data analytics, silicon debug, circuit/layout review, and physical failure analysis.
  • Characterization and root cause analysis strategies, debug methodologies, and success metrics.
  • Best practices and standard workflows for sustained yield enhancement.
  • Collaboration with design, test, product engineering, process/foundry, and quality teams.
  • Risk evaluation, corrective action implementation, and recurrence prevention.
  • Data-driven recommendations on production holds, material disposition, and qualification plans.
  • Communication of technical tradeoffs and impact to stakeholders.
  • Mentoring and guiding engineers.
  • Reviewing analyses and reports.
  • Coaching and providing design-for-manufacturability/reliability feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership for yield, quality, and reliability initiatives across multiple analog and mixed-signal products.
  • Perform and drive end-to-end root cause investigations for complex, cross-module failures using data analytics, silicon debug, circuit/layout review, and physical failure analysis.
  • Define characterization and root cause analysis strategies, debug methodologies, and success metrics; establish best practices and standard workflows for sustained yield enhancement.
  • Partner with design, test, product engineering, process/foundry, and quality teams to evaluate risk, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
  • Make data-driven recommendations on production holds, material disposition, and qualification plans; communicate technical tradeoffs and impact to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide engineers; review analyses and reports and raise the technical bar through coaching and design-for-manufacturability/reliability feedback.
