About The Position

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. Micron is seeking an experienced EUV Process Engineer to support the development, optimization, and high-volume manufacturing (HVM) of next-generation semiconductor technologies. This role is designed for a senior technical contributor who operates with significant independence, drives complex process solutions end-to-end, and partners closely with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to enable robust EUV patterning performance.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering (or related) with 5+ years in semiconductor lithography process engineering OR MS/PhD in same fields with 3+ years in semiconductor lithography process engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex process problems using structured, data-driven approaches
  • Strong communication skills, project management skills, and ability to work effectively across disciplines and organizations

Nice To Haves

  • Deep EUV knowledge and experience with CDU/overlay modeling, stochastic optimization, or defect mitigation strategies
  • Familiarity with data analysis and ML tools (Python, JMP, Excel, statistical workflows)
  • Experience collaborating with external research institutes or equipment/material suppliers
  • Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic, evolving environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive EUV lithography process development and sustainment for advanced technology nodes in a manufacturing environment
  • Innovate new design, layout, and photolithography techniques to open a solution space for future generations of memory devices; review literature to identify potential IP opportunities and file disclosures
  • Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of CDU, overlay, stochastic, and defectivity issues impacting yield and line performance
  • Develop and optimize process windows, scanner jobs, and associated metrology strategies to meet performance and manufacturability targets
  • Partner with equipment, metrology, materials, etch, and integration teams to deliver stable, high-yield EUV processes
  • Collaborate with external partners and suppliers (scanner, mask, resist, and ecosystem vendors) to evaluate and qualify new technologies to overcome process challenges
  • Use data-driven methods to analyze large datasets and translate results into actionable process improvements
  • Document and communicate complex technical results clearly to engineering peers, leadership, and stakeholders

Benefits

  • Choice of medical, dental and vision plans
  • Benefit programs that help protect your income if you are unable to work due to illness or injury
  • Paid family leave
  • Robust paid time-off program
