About The Position

Healthie is seeking an exceptional Staff Engineer to lead the development of its New Products. This senior technical role involves architecting and implementing greenfield features, focusing on scalable and reliable systems. The engineer will collaborate across Product, Design, Data, and Engineering teams, working on system design, backend and frontend development, and third-party integrations. Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience specializing in AI/ML technologies, developing and deploying production-grade AI systems at scale.
• Hands-on expertise in building machine learning models, natural language processing systems, and intelligent automation solutions, with a focus on delivering measurable impact for users.
• Direct experience with Healthie’s Tech Stack: Rails, React, Typescript, GraphQL, Postgres, Redis, Sidekiq, RSpec, and Capybara.
• Strong background in software architecture, systems design, and scalable infrastructure.
• Ability to ensure solutions integrate seamlessly with complex platforms.
• Excellence in collaborating cross-functionally.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Balancing long-term strategic goals with the need for agile execution and quick results.
• Deep passion for healthcare technology and the potential of AI to transform the industry.
