About The Position

At HR Green, Civil Engineers play a crucial role in designing and building the infrastructure that supports communities. This role is for a Civil Staff Engineer Land Development who is seeking more ownership, technical impact, and experience across both Land Development and Water/Wastewater projects. This position offers well-rounded experience by working across site development and critical utility infrastructure, which accelerates growth and opens doors to future leadership. The engineer will contribute to projects shaping private development and public infrastructure, from commercial and residential communities to the systems supporting them. The role involves influencing project planning and execution, direct client and municipality interaction, and seeing projects through from concept to construction and real-world impact. With a primary focus on land development and exposure to municipal services, the engineer will be involved in planning, design, permitting, and construction support, covering the full project lifecycle. Experienced engineers will provide support for development, building confidence and technical capabilities. Over time, the engineer will gain independence, manage work within project schedules and budgets, and take a more active role in delivering successful outcomes. As experience grows, there will be opportunities to guide junior team members and contribute to team success.
