About The Position

As a DevOps Staff Engineer, you will play a critical leadership role in driving the evolution of our DevOps practices. Performing hands-on technical execution, as well as providing strategic leadership, you will be responsible for guiding and growing the DevOps function across the organization. You will manage day-to-day DevOps activities, ensure release quality and velocity, and support the team in building robust, scalable, and secure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure. Your technical expertise, problem-solving mindset, and passion for automation will be vital in improving the efficiency and reliability of our software delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering
  • Proven expertise in: CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins
  • Scripting (e.g., bash, groovy and Python)
  • Strong experience with Terraform infrastructure-as-code and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), and Kubernetes-based deployments
  • Proficiency in containerization tools (e.g., Docker)
  • Experience working with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, Cockroach DB) and managing database CI/CD and configuration task
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Kloudfuse, Sumo Logic, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK stack
  • Deep understanding of deployment pipelines, infrastructure automation, and system security best practices
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business needs
  • Passionate, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about DevOps practices and modern infrastructure.
  • Strong experience with artifact repository tools (i.e Nexus, JFrog)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced product or platform engineering environment preferred
  • Exposure to security, compliance, and audit requirements in CI/CD and infrastructure preferred
  • Cloud or Kubernetes-related certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, CKA) preferred
  • Experience integrating DevOps practices into SDLC and cross-functional workflows preferred

Responsibilities

  • Leading and mentoring the DevOps team, setting clear goals, offering constructive feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Overseeing daily DevOps operations including build/release management, CI/CD pipelines, environment management, and infrastructure reliability
  • Driving technical decisions and provide guidance on tooling, automation strategies, and architecture.
  • Collaborating with engineering, QA, and product teams to prioritize work, align objectives, and ensure seamless deployment
  • Identifying opportunities for automation and implement solutions to reduce manual work and improve delivery speed
  • Ensuring system scalability, performance, and security are considered in all DevOps solutions.
  • Monitoring and improve infrastructure reliability, alerting, and observability
  • Advocating for best practices in DevOps and promote a high-energy, accountable, and collaborative team culture
