Responsibilities
- Design, build, and iterate on various commerce and marketplace products
- Lead by example as a dedicated and flexible technologist
- Set and drive architectural design and development objectives for commerce and marketplace tools
- Review and develop architecture plans for internal and external teams
- Be a leader and mentor for team members
- Make critical software design decisions with lasting impact
- Stay up to date on modern technologies and trends
- Analyze and evaluate existing solutions and make decisions on extension or refactoring
- Drive technical roadmaps for commercial value
- Collaborate with agile teams to deliver end-to-end products and features
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues quickly and effectively
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship
- Define and document engineering standards and best practices
- Address technical debt efficiently
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in B2B marketplace technical roles or eCommerce
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to find ideal solutions
- Ability to lead and mentor team members
- Experience in designing, building, and iterating on commerce and marketplace products
- Knowledge of modern technologies and trends in the industry
- Ability to make critical software design decisions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues quickly and effectively
- Familiarity with agile methodologies
- Strong understanding of engineering standards and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
