About The Position
T&M Associates is seeking an early-career civil engineering professional to join its Community Development group in New Jersey. The position begins with a strong emphasis on field-based work, including extensive field inspections and site exposure. Work includes civil design, field inspection, and report writing for capital and private property development projects. The engineer will also have opportunities to assist senior-level engineers with planning and zoning board reviews, municipal design projects, contract documents, estimates, and specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Fluency with computer software and technology such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.
- Strong command of design principles and ability to develop neat and accurate design calculations.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong working relationships with clients and staff members.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of related experience; relevant internship experience may substitute for experience.
- Engineer in Training certification, with the goal of obtaining a Professional Engineer’s License.
