About The Position

Analog Devices is seeking an experienced Staff EMC Engineer to join its Corporate EMC Lab in Wilmington, Massachusetts. The role supports growing EMC test and development needs and is suited to an engineer comfortable with RF and testing, ideally with experience in EMC testing and troubleshooting. The engineer will work with a team of experienced EMC engineers and interact with Field, Sales, Application, and Product Engineering teams, as well as ADI customers. Travel is required.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
Typically, at least 5 years of related and progressive industry experience.
Broad understanding of electrical/electronic engineering.
Experience in test setup and product measurement.
Ability to work with large, multidisciplinary development teams.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work to aggressive schedules.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated, thorough, autonomous, and driven to continually improve.

Nice To Haves

Experience in EMC testing and troubleshooting.
Prior experience debugging mixed-signal hardware.

Responsibilities

Study and develop a working knowledge of EMC standards that define generic test setups and processes.
Advise on, review, or create test plans in support of product testing.
Program, configure, calibrate, and verify measurement systems to perform tests.
Interact directly with Field, Sales, Application, and Product Engineering teams and ADI customers.
Develop additional test and troubleshooting capabilities within the lab.
