About The Position

Ramboll is seeking an early-career or recent-graduate Electrical Engineer to join its Data Center Facilities design team. The role works on data center projects throughout every stage of development, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers to develop electrical infrastructure solutions for enterprise, hyperscale, and colocation data centers. Projects include engineering challenges related to AI data centers and grid capacity constraints, and may involve collaboration across site selection, environmental and regulatory due diligence, master planning, and commissioning.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

• Coursework or experience related to power systems, architectural design, or fire alarm design.
• Familiarity with drawing production tools such as AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (EIT) exam.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic designs and perform calculations for projects under supervision, following design, construction, and government standards and using design software and drawing tools.
• Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and other data to plan projects.
• Gather and record information for specifications and review vendor submittals and drawings.
• Visit job sites to gain field experience and develop practical engineering skills.
• Develop a working knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Prepare and present routine technical reports.
